Council Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at by Mayor Hite. Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

JT made a motion to approve the April 2003 minutes. Josh second.

Lori Savage was present to discuss a complaint against the Fire Department. She sent a letter. Aaron read the complaints regarding the 2 squad runs in question. Council then listened to the 911 tapes. Roger made a motion to go into executive session to discuss personnel issues. Only the people who were involved in the runs could stay, including Mike Jackson. JT second. All yea. Council went into executive session at .
Roger made a motion to come out of executive session at . Nona second. All yea.
JoAnn said that Bob Black was here on April 21 with a furnace guy. Robert told Bob Black that he needs to bring things directly to Council.
JoAnn said that one of the security lights in the back is out. Josh made a motion that Council doesn’t need to vote on replacing light bulbs. JT second. All yea.
Bids were received for mowing services for the Village. Speedy Excavating - $150 each time;
Affordable Mowing - $150 each time; Blevins Cut & Trim - $70 each
time. Nona made a motion to enter into a
contract with Blevins Cut & Trim to provide mowing services for the Village
at $70.00 each time. Roger second. JT asked how often they would mow.
JoAnn said we received a letter from the Ohio Department of
Natural Resources regarding floodplain management. The letter requested several items from the

JoAnn asked if anybody wanted to talk about anything. JT said that he & Josh mowed the cemetery before Easter Sunday. There were weeds growing up over the tombstones. He said He said he mowed about 10 feet into Doug Hite’s property. JoAnn said someone complained about the job they did. JT asked who, but JoAnn wouldn’t say. JT said he’d like to send them a letter of apology. JT also said that JoAnn told him no one wanted him on Council. JoAnn denied she said that. Accusations continued. JT announced that he was running for Mayor this fall.
Nona made a motion to pay bills and adjourn. Roger second. All yea. The time is
