Bev made a motion to approve the December 2001 Financial statement. Lowell second. All yea.
The shut-off list was reviewed.
Lowell asked Aaron to check into putting the sewer deposits into a separate fund from the water deposits.
Lowell said there was an open seat on the BOPA, and he hopes someone will come to council meeting on Thursday night to fill it. He said we would wait until February to have the organizational meeting. We’ll set meeting dates and times at that time.
Lowell said that Terry thinks we might need a new chlorine pump at the pump house. If so, he’ll need a PO for around $200. We’ll have to wait until council approves interim appropriations. We wait to see if we even need a new pump.
Lowell said the Walnut Creek Sewer District board members still don’t know what they are going to do about a new billing software package. If they get one, we assume we’ll probably have to chip in a third of the cost. They are still considering different packages.
Lowell is going to ask Baltimore if they are going to increase water rates this year.
Bev asked about the rates going down in twenty years. Lowell explained that the loan will be paid off in 2014, but rates may stay the same. They could go up or down depending on the current situations and EPA requirements.
Bev made a motion to pay bills and adjourn. Lowell second. All yea.
