Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm.
Roll call: Brenda Mathias – Present; Lowell Hite – Present; Rose Robertson – Present; Aaron Reedy, Clerk – Present
Brenda made a motion to approve the June 2001 meeting minutes. Rose second. All Yea.
Rose made a motion to approve the June 2001 Financial statement. Brenda second. All yea.
JoAnn Hite brought up that Larry Kahle bought Tommy Kay’s old house. He paid up the water bill for the property.
Lowell said that we received a $10.00 payment from the Consumer Credit Counseling Company for Sherrie Jackson’s past-due account last month. Nothing has been received for this month. The property is going up for Sheriff’s sale on 7/13/01.
Lowell announced that Bob Black never called about his mother’s house. Brenda said she called and told him what he needed to do.
Lowell said that 2 CD’s for the BOPA mature in the beginning of August. We will probably put the money back in CD’s for a longer amount of time for higher rate.
Water tower is done – painted and paid for. Did have many complaints. The tower was last painted in 1988.
The Board reviewed the shut-off list. Heise’s house sold in Sheriff’s sale. Lowell sent the bill in before the sale, but they haven’t paid it yet.
Lowell received a Bankruptcy notice for Wendy Cooper, but she doesn’t owe any money.
As there was no more business to discuss, Brenda made a motion to pay bills and adjourn. Rose second. All yea. The time is 6:55 p.m.
